Timeline page - missing points?

A possible problem and a quick fix

After deploying the activity name hack that I posted about yesterday I saw on my Timeline page today that recent activities were mysteriously missing, even though the bike ride I did today appeared on all of the other relevant pages. I don’t know if this is related to the names hack. I did a spot check on a few other users and found that some have the some problem while others don’t.

If this problem affects you the quick fix is to refresh your data as described here. You just need to hit the Confirm Refresh button; there is no need to select the remove cached stream files option.
