More on the feed hiccup

The Activities download hiccup post at the start of last month reported issues some users faced with their data feed and declared that addressing this was now a high priority. I have now fixed the root causes, although there have been bumps along the way and some users who didn’t have feed problems before may have had them since. If you are in this situation please bear with me and re-fetch your data as described here, even if you have done so quite recently.

I haven’t, at the time of writing, systematically refreshed the data for all affected users. Also, it remains for me to introduce more self-repair checks if ever new problems should arise. I intend to have these in place (the most critical already are) by the end of the year. Until then, and indeed afterwards, if you find that your data looks wrong or incomplete please email me.
